The VELOWELD brand grew out of ASTOR’s previous experience with welding processes. In 2014, ASTOR strategically began investing in the development of robotic welding. This was a response to the needs of a market struggling with a shortage of qualified welders. Over time, ASTOR focused on providing comprehensive welding solutions, including for small and medium-sized enterprises, a unique offering in the market. Today, the result of these efforts is VELOWELD, which symbolizes the combination of dynamics and speed in operation (Latin: velox) and welding.

Our strategic approach to investing in the development of robotic welding competencies has allowed us to achieve a leading position in the Polish market. The development of VELOWELD is not only our response to market needs but also proof that robotics is not reserved for large corporations. We are convinced that it holds the key to the future for SMEs as well.
