A configuration dedicated to larger components. The Kawasaki Robotics robot is equipped with a linear track, allowing it to move relative to the welded part. The linear track, like the positioner, is equipped with a Kawasaki Robotics servo drive, enabling full synchronization of travel movements and manipulation of the welded component. The linear track is a modular structure, with its length individually selected depending on the size and width of the component. VELO–E provides very high production capabilities while maintaining flexibility and modularity of the design.

Welding Robot BA006L and BA006N

The Kawasaki Robotics BA series robot is dedicated to robotic welding. Depending on the size of the parts being welded, we can use a robot with a reach of 1 450 mm (BA006N) or 2 036 mm (BA006L) in the robotic welding station. The combination of the robot’s slender design and a hollow wrist allows it to weld parts with complex geometry while maintaining maximum arm rigidity in hard-to-reach areas.

Welding power source

We partner with the largest manufacturers of welding power sources, which allows us to select them individually based on the client’s preferences. When choosing a power source, we also ensure that the welding process is optimised as much as possible. In our robotic welding stations, we use welders from top brands, including Fronius, SKS, ESAB, and EWM.

Cleaning station

A device that enables automatic cleaning of the torch nozzle. Equipped with functions for automatic welding wire cutting and applying anti-spatter fluid.

innovative Industry 4.0–Ready Production with VELOWELD

As part of the welding shop modernization project, an investment was made in four advanced robotic welding stations. Each station is equipped with a welding robot moving along a 10-meter rail and two positioners with a maximum load capacity of 2 tons each. To meet Unia’s production challenges, over 50 specialized welding applications and appropriate tooling for robotic spot welding and welding processes were developed.
